Meet Our Team
Ramprasad V
He is a Bengaluru-born environmental professional with a postgraduate degree in Psychology and ongoing doctoral research in Wetlands. After a decade in corporate management, he shifted to full-time environmental work in 2011. He is the Co-Founder and Convenor of Friends of Lakes (FOL) – Bengaluru. He serves as a member of the Bangalore University Water Institute. Ramprasad is a Consulting Advisor to WELL Labs on urban wastewater reuse and lake design, management frameworks..He advises state governments in J&K, Jharkhand, and BBMP on Solid Waste Management.He has coordinated citizen participation programs and earlier led CII’s lakes sub-committee and as member of Karnataka State Water Network. A Fellow of the Institute for Resource Recovery, he mentors NGOs, colleges, and citizen science initiatives. His work includes innovative recycling products and construction material research. He has contributed to major policies like Swachh Survekshan reforms and SWM micro-planning. Actively involved in climate action, he represented Bengaluru at COP27 and contributed to Bengaluru Climate Action Plan 2040/50. His projects span lake rejuvenation, flood mitigation, recharge wells, rainwater harvesting, and urban water security.
Rajesh Babu
He is a waste management and circular economy expert with over 15 years of experience, currently working at the intersection of policy, operations, and sustainability implementation. He serves as a Project Management Consultant with rePurpose Global, supporting global plastic recovery and Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR)–aligned programs through operational planning, partner coordination, and impact monitoring across plastic waste value chains. He also advises on EPR implementation frameworks, recycler onboarding, compliance processes, and integration of private producers with municipal solid waste systems. Drawing on his long-standing role as Co-Founder of Swachha Eco Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Rajesh brings deep on-ground execution experience in waste collection, segregation, recycling, and stakeholder engagement, effectively bridging municipal systems, producer responsibility obligations, and global sustainability standard.
Lingaraj Dinni
Heads Partnerships and the habitats group at a new venture called LVBL Accelerator. This is a hyperlocal sustainability and liveability accelerator based in Bengaluru. Earlier, he has worked closely in conceptualising the environmental program related to GHG accounting and mitigation, water efficiency, waste management and biodiversity at Wipro Ltd. In that role, he has engaged with key functions across the organisation. He has also led the urban ecology and environmental education program for over a decade.
Nagesh Aras
Bridges the gap between environmental sustainability and business process excellence, bringing a rare combination of deep domain expertise and decades of experience in quality systems. His foundation in frameworks such as ISO 9000, Six Sigma, and the JRDQV Business Excellence Model (equivalent to the Malcolm Baldrige Award) gives him a rigorous, process-driven edge in tackling complex environmental challenges. His areas of thought leadership include water resilience, sewage treatment plant (STP) design and operations, lake rejuvenation, and municipal solid waste management. He is the author of the comprehensive STP Guide published by the Karnataka State Pollution Control Board, and has developed frameworks for lake rejuvenation and CSR-based environmental projects. Nagesh helps residential, commercial, and industrial clients transition to circular economy practices by optimizing water and waste systems, designing and troubleshooting STPs for compliance and efficiency, and integrating resource recovery into facility operations. With a practitioner’s mindset and a systems-thinking approach, Nagesh turns sustainability goals into practical, measurable outcomes-transforming environmental challenges into operational and reputational opportunities.
