Expertise & Capability Portfolio - Again Resource Labs
What We Bring

Expertise & Capability Portfolio

A-Gain Resource Labs is built on decades of combined, on-the-ground work across India's water and waste systems — spanning citizen action, municipal partnership, process engineering, and policy advisory. That range is what lets us move a project from diagnosis to design to delivery without handing it off.

Lake Rejuvenation & Urban Water Security

End-to-end restoration of lakes, ponds, and traditional open wells — from ecological assessment through de-weeding, recharge infrastructure, and long-term governance. Track record: 32 water bodies rejuvenated, 24 open wells restored, 400+ recharge wells implemented directly and 800+ influenced through campaign work, and flood-mitigation canal projects connecting 14 lakes in Anekal.

Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) & Regulatory Advisory

Advisory support for EPR framework design, recycler onboarding, and integration of private producers with municipal systems — delivered directly to state pollution control boards, EPR-aligned global programmes, and producer responsibility organisations.

STP Design, Compliance & Water Resilience

Design, troubleshooting, and performance audits of Sewage Treatment Plants for residential, commercial, and industrial complexes, backed by a process-engineering discipline applied to compliance and cost-efficiency. Includes authorship of the STP Guide published by the Karnataka State Pollution Control Board.

Municipal Solid Waste Management (SWM)

Design and delivery of city-scale waste systems — ward-level micro-planning, dry waste collection infrastructure, and processing facilities — built and operated in direct partnership with BBMP and other urban local bodies. Includes India's first de-centralised Dry Waste Collection Centre model (11 DWCCs, later scaled to 27) and Karnataka's first PPP dry waste processing centre.

Circular Economy & Plastic Recycling

Building the infrastructure and supply chains that turn waste plastic into raw material — collection, aggregation, and recycling systems that have processed tens of thousands of tonnes of material, alongside product innovation such as Re-Tile, India's first pavement tile made from recycled homogeneous plastic.

Policy & Government Advisory

Direct advisory relationships with state governments (Jammu & Kashmir, Jharkhand) and BBMP on SWM compliance and Swachh Survekshan reform; contribution to the Bengaluru Climate Action Plan 2040/50; representation of Bengaluru at the UN Cities meet, COP27.

Product & Materials Innovation

Applied R&D that turns waste streams into usable materials — recycled-plastic pavement tiles, plastic-waste adhesives for the plywood industry, glass-aggregate paver blocks, lake-sludge-based construction blocks, and bituminous binders made from recycled co-polymer for road construction.

Training, Capacity Building & Citizen Science

Design and delivery of training programmes for SWM staff, from municipal commissioners to sanitation workers; citizen-science tools such as the Lake Health Index app; university mentorship for applied research on lakes and waste systems; large-scale public awareness campaigns reaching thousands of students and residents.

Large-Scale Event & Institutional Waste Management

Waste management delivery for major public and institutional events — four editions of Aero India with the Indian Air Force, national festival waste models with BBMP, and citizen participation programmes for city-wide clean-up drives.
